About Us
Clumsy World is the artistic brainchild of Genna BloomBecker, a multidisciplinary artist based in California. Genna is inspired by color, movement, collective care and regenerative perspectives.
A trained dancer with a deep desire to bring positivity into the world, Genna calls upon her diverse education to inform her work and perspective. With degrees in Dance and Environmental Studies from Loyola Marymount University, Genna was also the first dance major in the history of the university to be named Valedictorian. She imbues her artistic passion into the fields of photography, jewelry design, modeling, upcycling objects into art, curating playlists, podcasting, writing, and continuously working to make her home a sanctuary.
Clumsy World is a space for everything that Genna creates- from fused glass accessories to photography prints and a podcast focused on the healing process of trained dancers.
Clumsy is our name and our philosophy. Despite her dance training, Genna is quite clumsy and realized this word encapsulates so much. Clumsy World is an ephemeral space in which we accept and love our differences, appreciating the challenges in each of our journeys that make this experience of life so unique to each of us.
This is a space for connection, community, healing and joy. We harness the magic of color to create art objects that feel as good as they look. We will always use handcrafted and analog techniques, because there’s nothing quite like handmade art. And we are dedicated to having raw, honest conversations that bring insight and growth.
